News-Antique.com - Sep 30,2007 - Postcards and More, an eBay store owned by Joyann Dwire, has changed its name to Joy’s Flea Shop. While Joy’s Flea Shop still features more than 500 collectible postcards, the new name more accurately reflects the store’s inventory of vintage books, glassware, china and decorative items - just like you’d find at a flea market.
In addition to a new name, the store has received a new look and has expanded with pages to assist shoppers in their search for collectible or gift items. If you stop in at Joy’s Flea Shop, don’t miss the unusual seashell hen on a nest (pictured) or the sombrero-wearing salt and peppers. In fact, there are several unique salt and peppers featured in the store this week, and many of them are on sale.
Also on sale this week are a number of state collector plates and miniature state tooth pickers. And don’t forget the children -- the Winnie-the-Pooh Dixie Cup Dispenser is a charmer.
Glassware and china are also on sale this week. You’ll find a number of Homer Laughlin plates, a Regency and a Staffordshire Ironstone plate and a set of Salem Flower Basket Sampler plates.
Of course, postcards will always be a major item on Joy’s Flea Shop, as will vintage and collectible books. There are also many paper ephemera items available.
Items are added weekly, so don’t miss out on the new inventory as Christmas approaches. Bookmark Joy’s Flea Shop at http://stores.ebay.com/Joys-Flea-Shop.
