Wolcott finds in Peirce’s favor. Some wrinkling around State Department Seal, otherwise in quite fine condition.

W.F. “Baldy” Smith of the US Army, about Smith’s accounts of the US Civil War. Lytton - English statesman and author (1831-91); Viceroy of India. With ALS “Lytton,”1p, 12mo, “Xmas Eve Argyll House,”no year. He invites Gen. Smith to spend Christmas day with him. All very good.
