Also, a hand-written letter, small folio, 1850, regarding payments on behalf of a business venture of 1000 livres, with official stamp in upper left. Age toning, else very good.

Interesting large DS by various university officials, in Latin, 1p, elephant folio [ca. 23.5” x 21.5”], Erlangen, Bavaria, 10/19/1836. It certifies that by the authority of King Ludwig of Bavaria that Anthony Mitchell Wagner of London has been awarded a Doctorate in Medicine from Friedrich-Alexander University. With blue and white silk ribbons. Tears at upper left and left edge, fold in middle, fair amount of wear and very light toning, overall very good.
