Byrns’s funeral; on the yacht Nourmahal; delivering a message to Congress, etc. Images silver print format, ca. 7” x 9”. Some age-toning, crackling, fold wear, and one or two with creasing, otherwise all very good. All with printed news captions on verso, news organizations’ handstamps.

Fairbanks on cover; two 4-3/4” x 3” engraved Cards, one for the inaugural ball, 3/4/05, with American eagle vignette, the other with the date 1905; unusual Dance Card booklet for the ball, with pencil attached by string; and finally a 2-sided narrow 4to Broadside giving the “Regulations / Inaugural Ball, March 4, 1905”with a floor plan of the Pension Building on verso. Broadside with well worn top and bottom edges, cards slightly creased and soiled, otherwise all in very good condition.
