A 5” x 7” image, matted, 14” x 17” overall size. The partially dismantled rail line lacks tracks, but the closed subway stop remains. In fine condition.

Officers and appointees in the Street Department during July 1866 have all signed their names, DS, on a large page, opposite the entry of their names on the Pay Roll list, 34 names in all. At the bottom on the right, the Street Commissioner, W. M. (“Boss”) Tweed has signed, certifying that the services charged were actually performed! Great piece of city history; slits at two folds, inconsequential ink stains, else fine. Second DS, Jan 31, 1863, invoice for “Fire Machines”&”Apparatus” for $18., and signed by“W. M. Tweed Dep Stret Commissioner” and others. Small, fine, fold split.
