Heritage and Central States Numismatic Society Ink Official Auctioneer Contract Through 2011 Heritage Auction Galleries and the Central States Numismatic Society have contracted to continue their incredibly successful auction relationship.
News-Antique.com - Aug 09,2007 - Dallas, TX: In a signing ceremony held at the ANA's 2007 Milwaukee World's Fair of Money, Heritage Auction Galleries and the Central States Numismatic Society have contracted to continue their incredibly successful auction relationship. Heritage has been selected to remain as the Official Auctioneer of CSNS conventions at least through 2011.
"Heritage has been the Official Auctioneer of the Central States organization since 1993," summarized Heritage Co-Chairman Steve Ivy. "Since then, close cooperation with Central States has built this venue into one of the most important auction events held every year. During those 15 years, Heritage has auctioned more than $125 million of rare coins and currency."
"This three year extension of our arrangement, for 2009-2011," added Heritage President Greg Rohan, "allows us to continue long-term planning for making our Central States auctions even larger. We are committed to helping the CSNS convention grow as large and exciting as possible."
Central States President Bill Brandimore said, "I am looking forward to many more years of this continued success. It has been a pleasure working with Steve Ivy and Heritage these past several years. Heritage is a great numismatic company and we look forward to continuing with them in the future. Heritage's auctions are a real asset to our Anniversary Convention and we are pleased to have them continue this fine tradition over the next several years."
Heritage's next Central States auction will be held April 16-19, 2008 in Rosemont, Illinois. "Our first Central States auction was also held in Rosemont, and we look forward to returning. Even though the consignment deadline seems a long time away at March 6, we already have some consignors signed up to participate."
