News-Antique.com - Jul 19,2007 - Two of the more unique and interesting venues to buy authentic tribal antique art and artifacts are the Whitehawk Antique shows held every year in August. At either the Antique Indian Art Show or the Ethnographic Art Show you can rub shoulders with celebrities, local characters and the leading collectors of tribal art in the country.
Attend the preview gala for either show and be among the first to browse through over 100 booths of the rarest and finest examples of both Native American antique art and ethnographic artifacts dating back to pre-Columbian. These “must attend” events feature live music, delicious food from Cowgirl Hall of Fame and the chance to experience the sum total of the Santa Fe art experience in one evening.
Weather you’re a seasoned antique art collector, a novice looking for skilled and knowledgeable advice, or someone who just likes to “browse”, you will defiantly find something to interest you at the Whitehawk Shows.
The 24th Annual Antique Ethnographic Art Show opens with a preview gala on Friday, August 10th from 6-9pm and continues from Saturday, August 11 through Sunday, August 12, from 10:00am – 5:00pm.
The 29th Annual Indian Art Show also opens with a preview gala on Monday, August 13th from 6-9pm and continues from Tuesday, August 14 through Wednesday, August 15, from 10:00am – 5:00pm.
