LOCATION: AMERICAN LEGION HALL 900 S. LaGrange Road LaGrange, Illinois
Admission fee: $2.00 / Glassware identification fee: $5.00 per piece with a two (2) piece maximum allowed.
Please note: This event is open to the public. Your paid admission to this event provides you with Associate Members Benefits for the day.
Our participating club member / dealers sell Depression Glass, Vintage Dinnerware, Pottery, Linens, assorted Memorabilia, Photographs and various collectibles dating from the 1920's through the 1980's. You can expect to find glassware from various manufactures such as: Jeannette Glass, Hazel Atlas, Hocking Glass, Cambridge Glass, Fostoria Glass, Indiana Glass, MacBeth Evans Glass and Art Glass.
A new added attraction / activity to this event is GLASSWARE IDENTIFICATION. This activity will be provided by Val Vogt a member of the 20-30-40's Glass Society and proprietor of Betty Ann's Antiques & Collectibles / WebStore along with other member volunteers. Your paid admission to the show will provide you with access to this activity. There will also be a $5.00 fee charged per piece for identification of your glassware with a two (2) piece maximum allowed per person.
About the Club: The 20-30-40s Glass Society is a non-profit, non-political, educational and social organization. Our purpose is for the education and the preservation of American made glassware of the 1920's, 30's, and 40's. We have 6 general meetings per year with presentations provided by glass artists and manufactures along with our member collection presentations and a "What's It" table. Our meetings are dazzling, entertaining and above all informative. The 20-30-40s Glass Society publishes 6 newsletters per year and has an extensive reference library for members to use. Our memberships common bond is our love of glass and our love to indulge in the pleasure of collecting.
