Christie's sale of Important Pocket Watches & Wristwatches today totaled $6,218,352 - the highest total ever achieved at Christie's New York. The top lot was a rare Patek Philippe 18k gold single-button chronograph wristwatch that realized $432,000. Also of note was a unique “Fishes” bangle bracelet by Patek Philippe which sold for $120,000 - ten times it's pre-sale low estimate.
