As always, the sale will consist of modern and vintage timepieces, some without reserves. The highlight of the sale is a Patek Philippe Ref. 5029, self-winding, minute-repeating wristwatch. The wristwatch was produced in a limited edition of 10 pieces in pink gold, in 1997 to commemorate the opening of the new Patek Philippe factory in Geneva and is estimated at $500,000 to $600,000.
Other notable Patek Philippe items include a very rare, tonneau shaped, astronomic, self-winding, minute repeating, platinum gentleman's wristwatch with retrograde perpetual calendar, moon phases, and 48 hours power reserve; an astronomic, 18K yellow gold gentleman's wristwatch with round button chronograph, 30-minute register, perpetual calendar, and moon phases; a minute-repeating, astronomic, self-winding, pink gold gentleman’s wristwatch with perpetual calendar and moon phases; a winding, minute- repeating, 18K yellow gold gentleman's wristwatch with sapphire crystal back; and a "10 Day” platinum made in a limited edition of 750 to celebrate the year 2000.
For the Audemars aficionado, the sale offers a “Jules Audemars - Tourbillon Répétition Minutes Chronographe" made circa 2005. It is an extremely rare, large, minute-repeating, pink gold gentleman's wristwatch with visible one-minute tourbillon regulator, round button chronograph, and register estimated at $180,000 to $220,000.
Panerai enthusiasts will be happy to note that the sale will feature a “Pam 21.” Sixty of these magnificent watches were made in 1997. The platinum, manual-wind wristwatch has a 1940’s Rolex movement. And for the Rolex collector, an exceptional Rolex Chronograph Ref. 6238 with black dial will be sold. It is a water-resistant, stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch with round button chronograph, registers, and tachometer made circa 1965.
