Andre also dressed Cindy Crawford for the Super Bowl commercials and most recently created the brocade tuxedos and sequin tails for Mick Jagger's last appearance in the Super Bowl entertainment extravaganza, Columbia Record's EMI American Records;" Capitol Records;" Warner Brothers, Geffen Records. And motion picture studios such as 20th Century Fox, Touchtone pictures, and Sony pictures entertainment. Van Pier's love affair with Hollywood began when he designed the infamous red sequin dress for Dustin Hoffman in Tootsie. Van Pier's the world of rock 'n' roll fashions came in the early 1980's when he was hired by MTV to create a hip new image for the station's Veejays. During that time he was introduced to a young singer named Madonna who was without a budget for an album cover. Van Pier came to Madonna's rescue. Since that time he has been a creative conceptual consultant for top music entertainment companies such as Sony Music, CBS records, RCA, Island and Atlantic records Music television MTV, VH1, HBO, A & E. All of this spectacular art couture was designed by Van Pier for fashion magazine layouts.
