News-Antique.com - Nov 30,-0001 - In the most recent past, our client RHOADES BROTHERS Incorporated purchased a home in CICERO ILLINOIS.
In this BUNGALOW STYLE HOME we found some extremely interesting ANTIQUE and COLLECTIBLE merchandise. We dated the furniture to the COLONIAL REVIVAL PERIOD. This prompted us to and further our knowledge about architecture and styles in and around the Chicago area and
explore more areas of collectibles.
A few of the new categories that we have created and added to our WebStore site this year are: Architectual Antiques, Musical Instruments, Kitchen Collectibles / Gadgets and Motorcycles.
Items that are listed and/or to be listed in these categories are: brass drawer pulls, antique Keys, leaded glass windows, Epiphone Rialto banjo, cast iron apple parer, and vintage motorcycle leather items.
We also have a large collection of depression glass, pinback buttons and a stamp collection still waiting in the wings for our attention.
On a sad note, we were unable to find buyers for some of the furniture which prompted us to remove the hardware.
We have allready sold some of hardware but there is still one set left which has been added to the architectural category in our WebStore.
