Boston Artists Featured in Rock & Art Auction On November 8th, LiveNation is proud to celebrate the close of our inaugural season of Rock & Art with a charity auction taking place at the Opera House in downtown Boston.
Boston, MA (October 25, 2006) – During the 2006 summer concert season at the Bank Of America Pavilion, the Rock & Art program paired local artists with popular national touring acts in an effort to bridge the gap between the worlds of performance and visual art. As a result, audiences were not only treated to live music, but they were also able to view a growing collection of large-scale paintings inspired by the many musicians that visited the Pavilion stage.
On November 8th, we are proud to celebrate the close of our inaugural season of Rock & Art with a charity auction taking place at the Opera House in downtown Boston. All 50 large-scale paintings (4’ x 4’), many of which were signed by the headlining artists who played at the Bank Of America Pavilion will be offered for sale with proceeds benefiting local non-profit organizations: Action for Boston Community Development and Artists For Humanity. The full collection of Rock & Art paintings can be viewed at www.rockandart.org.
