News-Antique.com - Nov 30,-0001 - Toy Car Collector Magazine, the official publication of the Toy Car Colllectors Association, has been discontinued as of December 31st, 2006. In lieu of this unfortunate occurrence, chairman and founder Mr. Dana Johnson has suggested that those interested in similar publications obtain a free trial issue of Model Auto Review.
Model Auto Review (MAR) is published ten times a year in 8½" x 5½" format with an average of 48 pages per issue from Leeds, Great Britain, by Rod Ward. The magazine features color as well as black and white photos.
In January 2007, MAR incorporated Toy Car Collector Magazine (TCCM), previously the official publication of the Toy Car Collectors Association (TCCA) which ceased publication of its club's magazine as of December 31st, 2006.
Although MAR is no longer featuring a Toy Car Collector Magazine segment, it remains one of the most valuable resources for collectors of automotive toys and models.
