News-Antique.com - Nov 30,-0001 - Joyann Dwire, owner of Postcards and More!, has published her first children’s book with Journey Stone Creations. What Kind of Cow Are You? is part of Journey Stone Creations new “Little Gems” series of picture books.
Dwire, a lifelong resident of Rockwood, Pennsylvania, was inspired by her rural heritage and love of animals to write her debut picture book.
“I never planned to write a children’s book,” she says. “But the ideas just seemed to come.”
In What Kind of Cow Are You? Mitzi the calf is tired of being a cow and goes for a walk around the barn yard looking for something else she can be. She greets every animal she meets with the question, “What kind of cow are you?” In the end, she realizes that she must be what God made her to be.
What Kind of Cow Are You? is Dwire’s second book. Her first book, Miracle at Dormel Farms, is about the Quecreek Mine Rescue in Somerset County, PA. It is available at her ebay store Postcards and More!
