93 Kenton “Gene Autry” Dummy Long Barrel Cap Pistol Made by Kenton Hardware Co., Kenton, Ohio. Circa 1939. Cast Iron(Best/Logan, G5.1.2), 8-3/8". Gun is marked with a signature “Gene Autry” on both sides. Original reddish orange plastic grips also marked with imprinted “Gene Autry” signature.This is the RARE long barrel Gene with the early style hammer and polished nickel finish. Has never fired caps (and never will – it’s a dummy!). Dummy cap guns were produced by gun manufacturers in small numbers to be sold in states and cities that classified caps as “fireworks” and forbid their sale. Minor wear to signatures on grips. Slight warp on right grip and small chip on left grip.C8/Excellent.

No cap wear. Nickel finish is clean. Functions well. The original insert white plastic rearing-horse grips are unbroken and bear the “BH” logo. No cracks or breaks on frame or grips. Overall, C8/Excellent
