COMMENT: Jeanne Sloane, Head of Silver and Objects of Vertu: “We are particularly thrilled with our continued success and growth in the modern silver market, as seen in the impressive results of our top two lots. Results for Jensen and Puiforcat were strong across the board, with our Jensen silver offerings totaling $575,400 today. Traditional markets such as English and Continental silver, as well as gold boxes, were also very healthy, drawing strong prices on all levels. Two lots in the top ten were Russian, showing that the recent strength of this market spans collecting categories.”
