News-Antique.com - Nov 30,-0001 - Most of the Oriental rugs are from the c. 1900 home built for the Ingraham clock making family in Bristol, CT. The two lead items are antique carpets, a Ferrhan Sarouk and a Persian Baktiari, both measure approximately 14’ x 20’. From a museum collection a mid-17th C. Indian Mughal rug will be offered. Other early textiles include an 18th C. Spanish/Portuguese embroidered velvet hanging and an 18th/19th C. Continental tapestry depicting a garden scene.
A good selection of fine paintings will be offered including a large Hudson River school oil (37 ½” x 56”); old master paintings and works by C.E. Braley; H.H. Brooks; F.C.Burr; J.M. Burr; W.M.
