The late Ore Vacketta was the author of two books on Illinois tokens (see our book list at www.exonumia.com/books.htm ). After years in storage, his massive collection of about 11,000 different trade tokens is now being sold to the highest bidder.

Yes, if you are interested, just send me your name, address, phone number and email, and I will send you information on each auction. There is NO charge for the lists. Due to the overwhelming size, parts of the collection will be sold in small lots. Other tokens will be sold individually.
Part of the collection will be sold on eBay, most will be sold in periodic auctions on my web site, and part may be sold by other methods, such as mail bid sales in NTCA. Over 1000 lots consisting of between one and 200 IL tokens have been sold as of March 2007. Some tokens bring only $4 each, while some rarer town tokenss have brought over $100. Auctions are now running monthly.
