Among the show’s main attraction was the infamous Outfits from Madonna's erotic past designed by fashion’s chic guru Andre Van Pier The King of Rock 'n' Roll Fashions and the celebrity fashions worn by such rock legends as Mick Jagger, David Bowie, Prince, Bono and Sting and many others.
The dazzling items at the Ultimate Rock 'n’ Roll Fashion Exhibition featured the scandalous gold hot pants Madonna wore topless in her "Sex" book, Madonna's black fishnet see-through bodysuit featured in the same book, and one of the wedding gowns from the Material Mom's "Like a Virgin Tour;" Mick Jagger's silver brocade snakeskin jacket from the "She's the Boss" video; David Bowie's black leather and sequins space cowboy jacket , Lisa Marie Presley's red sequined motorcycle jacket based on her late father's black leather jacket currently on display in Graceland; Bono's black wool and leather bomber jacket from his "Pride" promotion tour, Prince's Gold Record jacket for te Rolling Stones Magazine ; and Sting's black and white striped jacket seen on the MTV Awards.
The exhibition featured Van Pier's prototype of the red dress worn by Dustin Hoffman in the hit film, "Tootsie;" a jacket designed exclusively for Diana Ross made entirely of cubic zirconium and the first garment in the world completely covered in swaroski crystals; a red crystal beaded dress worn by Joan Collins of "Dynasty;" and a white silver blouse with pearls, diamonds and silver bullion thread worn by the silver screen goddess Elizabeth Taylor on the cover of Goodhousekeeping magazine.
Van Pier’s avante garde ground breaking fashion electic continous to startle and astounds the fashionistas trensetters everywere.
