Premiums were freebies given out with Cereal or from you favorite old time radio program, and a nice selection of Buck Rogers, Dick Tracy and G-Men badges and other give-aways will be featured and sold in this auction.
This is different than most auctions, as there will not be a live audience during the actual bidding process, just a live, in-person preview. All bidding will be from left bids, phone bids and Internet bidding through the www.Proxibid.com interactive auction system. You will actually hear the voice of the auctioneer prompting you to continue to bid online. The catalog will appear on proxibid.com with pictures and descriptions prior to the live preview, and Internet bidders will be able to bid in real time with one click bidding. You must register in advance of the auction with Proxibid.com to watch or participate in the auction.
So you can sit in the comfort of your own home, dressed as casual as you’d like, with eats and drinks from your own fridge and enjoy the excitement and adrenaline rush of a real auction.
There will be a live, in-person preview on Friday March 3rd from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday March 4th from noon until 6:00 p.m. where interested parties can see and touch the catalogued items, and can leave Left Bids to be entered on their behalf during the real time auction. Those who are extremely interested in certain items can request to be on the phone during the sale of those items.
