It's been a wonderful first year with plenty of lessons learned (ie: canned air gets dust out of antique crevices, too!). Luckily, the thief who pilfered $3000 of merchandise from us at this time in 2004 has now been caught and prosecuted! And Christine has finally stopped weeping over the loss of her View Master collection. (Kudos to the Tacoma, WA police force!)
2006 promises to be even better! Due to the acquisition of hundreds of Imperial Peking Asian Art items from a liquidating warehouse we have a large variety of art being added daily. All items are simply gorgeous, 90 % are still in the original export boxes! We have discovered Peking glass in a variety of shapes and colors, reverse painted snuff bottles, Phoenix Bird / Flying Turkey patterened china, and literally thousands of early to mid-1900s cloisonne. The only problem is that there are only 2 of us to do all the work and only 24 hours in a day. Luckily, we LOVE what we do! See you all at the Tacoma Dome in January!
