Of the 479 lots that were offered, 291 sold for a total of $4,926,120 [All sold prices include buyer’s premium]
COMMENT: “We were very encouraged by the results of today’s sale, which attracted active bidding in the saleroom throughout the day by an international range of buyers,” said Sebastian Davies, International Specialist Head of 19th Century Furniture, Sculpture and Works of Art. “The sale’s eclectic mix proved appealing to the market, with virtually all sale categories experiencing impressive individual results, often far-exceeding pre-sale high estimates.”
Melissa Bennie, Head of 19th Century Ceramics and Glass added, “With $1.5million in porcelain sales today, and with porcelain securing two of the sale's top three lots, we are thrilled with today's results. French manufacturers carried the day, though strong results were also seen in Berlin K.P.M. plaques and Minton pâte-sur-pâte.”

Lot # 139 - A pair of Minton pâte-sur-pâte chocolate-brown and dark-green vases, “Zodiac”. Sold for $102,000 and had an estimate of $60,000-80,000. It was sold to US Private
Lot # 308 - German silver-mounted carved ivory ewer and charger, late 19th century. Sold for $96,000 and had an estimate of $50,000-80,000. It was sold to US Trade
Lot #487 - A pair of French white marble figures emblematic of night and day, on pedestals After the models by Mathurin Moreau, Late 19th century. Sold for $90,000 and had an estimate of $30,000-50,000. They were sold to US Trade
