This guide offers current pricing for thousands of vintage magazines, magazine history and profiles of popular contributors. More than 1,000 full color magazine covers are included.
“Antique Trader Vintage Magazines Price Guide” introduces the contributors and cover designers who help make specific magazines collectible, from Jack London and Arthur Conan Doyle to Frederic Remington and Norman Rockwell. Examples of their work are presented with the brief profiles. A few modern magazines are covered; however, the majority of the magazine listings are considered vintage.
The listings are alphabetized according to magazine title from The Adelphia to Zero Magazine. Brief histories and magazine covers accompany the price listings, which are given for the most collectible issues, as well as unremarkable issues.
The Russells own and operate Sangraal Books in Tempe, Ariz. Richard wrote the first edition of the “Antique Trader Book Collector’s Price Guide, as well as the second edition, schedule to be published in July 2006.
