Frank Farmer Loomis IV to appraise antiques on booksigning tour from Cincinnati to Chicago in Oct. 2 Bring your antiques to a participating Borders for appraisal by Frank Farmer Loomis IV
News-Antique.com - Nov 30,-0001 - Iola, Wis.—KP Books announces the combined booksigning and antiques appraisal tour of Frank Farmer Loomis IV. Loomis will be visiting Borders bookstores from Cincinnati to Chicago during the month of October. He will appraise antique items customers bring in to participating Borders and sign his “Secrets to Affordable Antiques” and “Antiques 101,” both published by KP Books.
The tour will launch from Borders Eastgate store in Cincinnati at 7 pm, Oct. 18. From there, Loomis travels to Chicago, stopping at stores in Dayton and Columbus, Ohio, Louisville, Ky., and Indianapolis, Ind. His final stop in Chicago will be at Borders in Wheaton and at the final Chicago Antique Market of the season.

Loomis has been appraising antiques for more than 25 years and has been an appraiser on the Antiques Roadshow. He hosts Keep Antiquing, a popular radio show on WVXU and WNKU, heard in the metro Cincinnati, Ohio area. He has taught antiques classes at the University of Cincinnati and continues to write an antiques syndicated newspaper column. Loomis lives in Cincinnati and is available for interviews.
