News-Antique.com - Nov 30,-0001 - Pierceton, Indiana has been home to at least one antique shop since 1940 and currently is home to 10 antique shops in its quarter-mile stretch of downtown businesses.
Antique lovers will be sure to find just what their hearts' desire.
Known as "The Antique Town", Pierceton's antique community is rapidly expanding. In the past two years, three new shops have opened, with one more hoping to be open for the Christmas shopping season. The shops take pride in their selection of fine quality antiques.
Many shops are open daily, with varying hours. But for the upcoming weekend of Friday, September 30 through Sunday, October 2, 2005 most shops will be observing expanded hours. Shops will be open from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. to give shoppers extra time to visit on Friday, 9/30. On Saturday, hours will run from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and again on Sunday from noon until 4:00 p.m. Many shops will have special sales for this promotion.
