remove white spots on wood: Rub the surface with a cloth soaked in a solution of 1/2 cup ammonia and 1/2 cup water. Wipe dry and polish with wax. If that doesn't work, rub the surface with a cloth soaked in a solution of 1/2 cup turpentine and 1/2 cup linseed oil. Careful! Turpentine is combustible.
