WhatACollection.com Launches Sleek New Site International collecting site, WhatACollection.com, has rebranded itself with a slick new user interface and simpler navigation.
News-Antique.com - Nov 30,-0001 - What A Collection.com, the international collecting site which allows
collectors to set up their own collecting web pages, has a brand new look. Co-Founder Barbara Ley says they were seeking a fresher looking, more functional site.
"This is out third major redesign since we went live five years ago.
We felt our members and thousands of weekly visitors would like a
simpler, cleaner interface, which would make navigation simpler and more elegant."
What A Collection.com has maintained a steady growth curve over the years, constantly adding members from across the US and the rest of the world.
"I'm also thrilled when we add a new collector from Europe, Asia or elswhere outside the States," said co-founder Ron Dylewski. "In fact, we recently welcomed a collector from the UK, who specializes in collecting shopping lists!"
Membership in What A Collection is completely free. Photos of members collectibles can be hosted elsewhere, or right on the site.
"A greater understanding of Internet technology has made it simpler for people to post photos," Said Dylewski. "When we started, this was really new to a lot of people and a bit daunting. Today, however, many people have embraced digital photography - so their files are ready to be uploaded and displayed."
"Our intent has always been to make our site simple to use for the non-geeks of the world, and we think our new interface helps a lot in that regard," said Ley, "What A Collection is the kind of place whre your average person can have their collecting site up and running in just a matter of minutes."
