News-Antique.com - Nov 30,-0001 - On FRIDAY, July 29th and SATURDAY, July 30th, in New Milford, CT, the 38th NEW MILFORD VILLAGE FAIR DAYS will be held on the Village Green, about 10 miles North of Danbury, CT, Route 202 off Route 7. The show runs from 10 AM - 10 PM on Friday and from 9 AM - 9 PM on Saturday. It's a great place for lunch or dinner. Shop the 100 “juried� artists and artisans and up to 25 antiques dealers. Constant live entertainment, a kid's marathon on Friday evening and an adult marathon Saturday morning with over 500 runners, just adds to the excitement.
Exhibitors come from many states including VT, NJ, NH, MA, ME, PA, RI, MD, OH, FL, WV, NY as well as from locally. They offer you pottery, doll clothes, photography, fine paintings, wearable art for children and adults, garden and house signs, birdhouses and feeders, jewelry including wire wrapped gemstones, frames, beauty products such as skin creams and soaps, honey and bees wax products, gourmet condiments, sculpture, batik and tie dye garments, bonsai gardens, maple syrup, custom toe rings, giant wood carvings, handmade pet products and gourmet dog treats, Bavarian glazed nuts and Kettle Corn, sand art for the kids, handcrafted wrought iron, painting on glass, wooden toys, abstract wall hangings, sand carved glass art, lapidary arts, and calligraphy. You can pose for a caricature portrait or a serious portrait, sit for henna body painting and let your kids create an art project with sand. There is so much more not mentioned in the art and crafts section.

Take I-84 (go East if coming off Route 684) to exit 7 North. Follow the expressway until it ends in Brookfield. Turn right and follow Route 7 another 8 miles to Route 202 East. Go about two blocks until you see all the tents. We're there rain or shine, as usual, but a little less heat would be so appreciated!
