Although the association has just one national convention, the members love to get together more often, meeting a couple more times during the year.
One day regional events coming up yet this year include:
Salmon, ID September 10
Lexington, NC September 10
Erie, PA September 17
Hannibol, MO October 8
Each region has its own style, but basically they follow the same pattern with an early morning breakfast snack, show and tell with interesting pieces of vintage cookware on display and discussed by the experts, stump the experts with really odd vintage cookware items, brief business meeting to discuss the next meeting place/date, luncheon, and swap meet to conclude the activities where you can buy, sell or trade.

Tell her which event you are most interested in attending, if you want a sample Pan Handler, and if you want a membership form. The Pan Handlers are included free with your membership, just $25 for two people at the same address or $20 for just one person for the year.
The 2006 membership drive is just underway for The Griswold and Cast Iron Cookware Association, so now would be the most opportune time to join the oldest and best vintage cast iron and cast aluminum cookware association.
