of the Society’s extensive painting collections including Peale portraits and Maryland furniture with Deputy Director Nancy Davis; and Curator and Associate Director of Satellite Museums Jeannine Disviscour.

Homewood House Museum on the campus of The Johns Hopkins University is one of the finest surviving examples of Federal Period architecture. We’ll have a private tour with an introduction from Catherine Rogers Arthur, Homewood Curator and co-author of “Homewood House,” recently released by Johns Hopkins University Press.

Madeira Tasting at Homewood House Museum
We’ll enjoy a special Madeira Tasting at Homewood House and hear about the history and special place that Madeira held during Homewood’s early days.

Cocktails & Dinner at the American Visionary Art Museum
We’ll meet with Baltimore-area AAA members for cocktails at the newly expanded American Visionary Art Museum and then head up to their Joy America Café for dinner.

Antique Row or B&O Railroad Museum
Baltimore’s antiques district is a short walk from the hotel – we’ll head over after breakfast and visit several of the city’s premier shops including Amos Judd & Son, E.A. Mack, Imperial Half Bushel, Drusilla’s Books, Dubey’s, and Crosskeys Antiques. An excellent alternative visit is to the B&O Railroad Museum with its magnificent roundhouse structure.

Deposit: $250 per person due by July 15; final payment due by August 15. Trip fee includes full program, all meals, local travel, and entrance fees.
